“Fool’s gold and poker chips at the top of the image represent the mercantile and risk elements in choosing a path. The Bird of Paradise in the bottom left is a watercolor that I scanned. The flower represents the focus we can have when we follow our soul’s purpose. Once the watercolor of the Bird of Paradise was scanned, the elements were composited electronically in Photoshop. Items were selected and blended using various levels of transparency and methods of blending. The color of the dominoes was altered from bright yellow to peach. The text was computer generated.”
