If you look to the left when you enter the studio this is what you'll see,
my digital work area. It's located in the darkest corner of the room.
I spend a great deal of time here
most of my time, actually. This website,
my digital illustrations and the digital fine art paintings nad montages all
originate here. I've tried to organize the entire studio into stations
or areas that are convenient to the supplies and materials I need for whatever
work I'm doing.
The desk is a large glass dining table which gives me lots of room to spread
out. With such a large worktop, though, it's hard to keep it clutter-free.
I really like the versatility of the Elfa wire basket system. The one you
see here slides under my desk and a small paper cutter sits on top. The two
printers (one inkjet, the other laser) sit on top of two more Elfas behind
my desk. I use the bookcase to house manuals, type reference books, and art
instruction and reference books which I sometimes need to refer to when I'm
working.
